Wanting to add some brass tacks to my hawk but can't seem to find what I want. First of all I would prefer solid brass. The only solid brass ones I found were the small Escutcheon ones that had a head diameter of only 1/8"and a shank length of 1/4". I then got some low dome brass-plated ones from Crazy Crow which have a head diameter of 3/8" and a shank length of 1/2". The heads I think look too large. Does anyone know of any sources where I might find tacks with heads that are 1/4" in diameter? Thank you.

The 3/8s heads can be filed down,just put the shank in your drill and put the "shoulder" of the head to a file or grindstone? Custom made tacks! Or are we talking about something differant?

track of the wolf tacks are NOT solid brass, they are plated as is the case with most of the tacks you can buy now.
you are asking for solid brass check closely before you order them.
