Thanks all. I'm mostly concerned with fire but with the pandemic and my proximity to a major interstate that leads to NYC, security can't hurt either.
 
Take it from a retired FF/Investigator. The atmosphere in a fire will destroy all firearms long before the heat will. Moneywise don't make a difference.

The best insurance for the fire destruction is a rider or policy for fire damage for the firearms. It is cheap. For theft an unmovable safe is money well spent. It also cheapens insurance for them.
