All I put a kit from traditions together. When I tighten the tang bolt down the hammer will not catch couple turns out on the tang bolt perfect no issues. any recommendations on how to fix this.

Sounds like poor inletting of the trigger. Tightening the tang bolt puts pressure on the trigger plate which pulls the trigger up so it bears on the sear which keeps the lock from engaging. Try shimming the trigger plate with some thin cardboard to see if this goes away.

I would look into filing down the trigger bar as it seems the trigger plate is being drawn up by the tang bolt and contacting the sear bar.
Blackhands idea is better

I've had to shim a couple older builds. Over the years the wood draws down.

When the hammer is cocked, the sear arm drops, just a tiny amount, just before it drops into the full cock position. If the trigger arm, comes in contact, then it will not function properly.
