It’s gonna get screwed into the wood, so plate hole pattern doesn’t matter much. Looking for Vernier, Soule, or post type. Not crazy about the 57SML. Too fugly. Let me know what you have. A front globe to go with it would be nice too. Going on a USA CVA Mountain Rifle that is accurate enough to deserve to be used long range.

I have a tang sight and Lyman Globe front sight (with one insert) that I would sell you. $100 shipped to your door if interested. See Pictures.

Have some great options to decide on. Thanks to everyone who contacted me. Very much appreciated!

Not trying to thread jack are these tang sight adjustable for different rifles? Can you adjust the vertical position to fit the stocks?

If you are mounting it to wood you can drill mounting holes wherever you like to position the sight’s baseline height.
Mind you it may interfere with your thumbs preferred position. You also don’t want the aperture, especially if on a post, too close to your eye on a heavier recoiling rifle. Don’t wanna be Ralphie.

If mounting to a rifle with a steel tang you generally want to use existing screw holes or will need to drill metal, tap, and potentially devalue the gun.

Most tang sights are elevation adjustable, but not always for windage.
