Does anyone have one or can give me some details. What twist rate, primer type, experience. Thanks

I looked at one last year, it didn't have the twist rate stamped on the barrel, but the proprieter thought it was 48". Just what do you mean by primer type? It is a percussion firearm.

Right...TC's catalog lists it as a 1:48"

Mine doesn't shoot prb very well. It shoots maxi balls extremely well. I'm not sure why it was discontinued.

I have a .54 GreyHawk. I picked it up for $100 "used" unfired. Best 100 bucks I ever spent. It has a 1:48 twist with percussion. Shoots PRB very well. The first 3 shots out of it ragged a single hole at 40 yards. My bro-in-law shot the 2nd shot, so I know it has to be the gun. I got a buttonbuck with it this year at 65 yds. Hit exactly right where I aimed, and I had to shoot left-handed. My son is never gonna let me live that down. :shake:
I wish it had a wooden stock, but, you can't have everything.

I just bought one my own self. A buddy of mine has had one for years. He used his to take a national title back in 93.
I knew when I had the chance that I'd get me one.
Anyway...I took the one I bought (used for $100) out and BOOYAH!! It's a tack-driver just like his.
It's my seventh capper and prolly the most accurate of em all. And it's a snappper when it comes to clean-up.

Well I bought it. Paid $145 in excellant shape, so I feel I got a great deal. Thanks for all of your feedback. Now the wauite for it to arrive.
