Surprisingly there was only (1) .50 cal on gunbroker.
I'm sure someone here has one for sale.

Punch in "all black powder & muzzleloaders" from 'categories' then type 'hawken' in the search bar. That'll bring you up 86 auctions at least eight of which were TC flinchlock Hawkens just a while ago.

You have to be careful on Proxibid. Some don't ship. Some have really high shipping rates. Some require a muzzleloader sent to FFL only (Illinois is one, I'd avoid them). Back before Beijing Biden got in, you get get a .50 TC on there for about $175-$225, and in great shape. Now sometimes they will go higher than a new one. That being said, watch closely as from time to time you can pick up a real bargain....then you'll wonder why you got the thing so cheap🤔. Also sometimes you can find premiums und 15%. I won't pay 20% or more. If I can be of help, give a shout. I use them quite often.

Just going to have to watch for one.
Thank you all for the help I really appreciate it.

I’ll take a truck load of those TC’s in good shape for $225!
Even in percussion!

Good Luck in your search 337
That was before the dems got in. Now you are lucky to touch a TC on proxibid for $400. That's my point. I was buying those TC's, Traditions, CVA's, etc for small bucks, my son would refurb, and I'd sell them on our websites for a good profit. There's no money in them for resale anymore

ML prices have been on the rise for a little while now. It isn't just the last year as implied above.. Those $200 deals were findable, but not that common, 5 years ago. You had to dig around to find them and they took some work. Patience and $300 may net you one now.
Got news for ya dayl. I know what I was paying for them on auction just back in 2019 and 2020. And as a matter of fact prices have skyrocked since 2021. Just like ammo, primers, caps, and powder.

That was my point exactly!

I’ve bought land for $400 an acre….

I bet you can’t do that now…. Not even cutover timber land.
Same with cars, boats , guns , liquor and any of the other item nowadays….

People are selling used vehicles in my area for thousands more than they paid for them new in 2019…
I just bought a car..(worse timing in the world) from a new car dealership in my local area(100miles) .

The dealer told me that they weren’t experiencing the difficulties in receiving new vehicles that the other dealers were due to their sales… average 225 - 250 cars a day..

Kinda makes one wonder if there’s really a shortage at all…. Along with ammo, caps , powder .. Is it real or are companies holding back waiting on the next pandemic ?

The good news is those 6x6x12’ treated post at Lowe’s are down too $ 49.00
now instead of $65.00 like back in January!
OSB, it’s down too $49.05 a sheet!
From $62.00..

FYI… I’ve bought the same osb for $7.50 a sheet, not that long ago.

The only turn around this Country will see is one similar to or maybe even more drastic than the great depression….

I really feel bad for my Grandchildren growing up in this situation..

As too Spence, you Guys say what you want.. He is a wealth of information on many subjects and has shown more documentation of how things were back in the day than any other member I can recall on this Forum.

He’s a muzzleloader shooter / hunter / Historian just like most of us are and I really could care less about his or any others religious believes, political affiliation, skin color or what color his underwear is for that matter…

Things have changed like was mentioned before.
Both in Real Life and on The Muzzleloading Forum…

I’ll get down of the soap box now…. It’s someone else’s turn..

See , Even I can still share.👍
