I bought a tc hawken 50 cal 1/48 twist with mint bore today .. Bought 8 boxes of pa conicals cheap.. What kind of accuracy can I expect with theses ..I was worried were the tc don't have deep rifling.

They'll shoot fine. Based on TCs recommended loads for conicals (NOT including the PA Conical), you would be starting at a low of 70 grains 2F, if not finding 80 grains to be suitable. I linked this manual/page in another thread earlier today and it applies to you as well. You can see that for the Hawken .45 you have a listing for a 240-255 grain conical and specs from 70 to 90 grains 2F. NOTE: This is for the .45 caliber but it is the bullet weight you are looking at in the PA Conical in .50 so extrapolate...

I use the Hornady Pa Conical in my 50 rifle (slow 1-70 twist) and my 50 cal pistol (12" barrel) and they shoot very well. The only thing I do is wipe off the excess (what I consider excess) lube that Hornady puts on them.
