Trying to keep my comments about a similar gun for sale here off the sellers post as a courtesy, but still just want to say that the TC Hawken with the vernier tang and front globe look so cool. I put blued plug screws where the original rear sight was, there are two screw holes.
My point,
The perfect straight line from the breech to the muzzle with the original sight removed is elegant. The profile of the gun is complimented even more with the high, primitive looking , vernier styled rear sight.

Thanks for sharing about what looks cool.
Does a vernier rear and front globe on a T/C hawken help it's accuracy?

It would even be cooler if the front sight was lower, the line of sight should be as close to the bore as possible. The reason being if the rifle is canted even slightly the high line of sight will induce a greater error to the point of impact.

I think the raised front sight is needed to zero in on the target at closer range - with a low front sight the muzzle will be tilted to far upward at close range.

I think the Renegade's look cool too.
