Very nice sight....but there's nothing like getting that little hole in the peep way back close to your eye. That gives me a much longer sight radius.

Thanks to everyone for their replies. It took me some time to sight in my TC Hunter style tang sight but once I did I noticed my group sizes decreased.

I still need to find my rifles most accurate load and distance and then I can resight in my rifle. One thing I noticed about the TC sight is that TC used to make a older style flip up tang sight which had micro adjustments. I saw one on ebay for $100 and considered purchasing it but I already had the hunter style sight on my rifle.

I suspect that the ladder style or vernier sight is better for making slight adjustments to the POI. The hunter style sight is a PITA to have to make adjustments because there are no set clicks or markings to let you know how much you adjusted one way or the other. It's really a hit and miss type of thing and I can't wait till I have it sighted in so I can stop messing with it.

Unless its sticking above your Hammer spur, I can't see how any sight is going to be a problem as a " Brush catcher ". Just what kind of brush are you pushing that gun through? :hmm:

I had to go get mine back out of the gun cabinet & look at it. You're right, it doesn't stick up any higher than the hammer. I just wish that I could adjust it to a lower position.
