I believe it was a Hawken from the screw spacing.

Another vote for the Hawken. TC Hawkens have a bead style front sight with a round bottom rear sight.

TC Renegades have flat blade front sights with Square notched rear sights.

This sight is from an early Hawken. It has the fluted sides and the screw spacing is longer than the later models.

It sure is good information to know it has fluted sides and longer spacing than the older models.

I take Snip It images of some of the information I read on the Muzzle Loading Forum (MLF) and save it on my computer so I can find it easily'
