Oddly enough a few weeks back I was shooting my KY .50 pistol off a rest and not doing that great (have had a few bad days so no worries). Then I just started shooting one handed and was getting a 4" group at 20 yds (about 8 shots). WEIRD!

I picked one up in .45 last year. The stock in the region it normally cracks has some crazy grain pattern which adds to it tuffness. I use 30 grains T7 3fffg with a 195gr PowerBelt Aerotip. Unbelievably accurate at 50 yds. Just wished I had saved the target to post. A blackpowder hater at the range couldn't believe how well it shot either. I hate to say it hangs below a .45 TC Hawken from the 70's in a display case on the wall. I know, a damn shame. After I harvest a deer this year with my .54 Pedesoli Rocky Mountain Hawken and its .54 sidekick, I'll break the Patriot out and draw some blood with it...........
