Sounds to me like you got you plan down, If it works for you that's all that matters,, Hope I helped, Even back in the old days they didn't all do things the same way, least that's what I've been told by the old ones,, They told me "I don't care what the books say, most of em been written by you white od simi white folk anyway" And I never said a word, I just listened, They were older and they were indians, Two of em liked my set up and told me so, I felt good,,,,,,,,,

I remember one ride I was on , we were comin out of the desert and headin up a narrow trail to the up high's, I knew that on this trail there was a pile of rocks that you were supposta place nother rock on top for a safe passage, I was in the middle of the pack and came upon it, so I stopped , got off my horse and placed a rocked on it, It's a Indian thing, I don't know why but it was the thing to do, so I did it,, as I got back on my horse (took less then 30 seconds) I heard a guy in the back sayin how stupid that was, I didn't care, I'm only in this world to impress my Lady, (and some times my self) When we got to a flat spot where we could all rest our horses we did, (bout 150 of us) As He was comin onto the flats, his horse started to buck, (for no reason,) real good,, Well most of us weren't young bucks and we have rode a buckin horse or 2 in our day and he did pretty darn good,, for a bit,, Then he came off, he hit the ground hard,, HARD,, The horse ran to me and I grabbed it,, ( I don't know why,, it just did) I looked over to him and he was bleedin pretty good, so I tied up his horse next to mine and grabbed my first aid kit out of my bag,, We got the bleedin stopped and as I was walkin back to my horse and I heard nother boy say (Got anything else to say?) He just said "nope".
I don't know why I remembered that or even posted it, and it's probably in the wrong place, But it seemed like the thing to do at the time,,, The Mods will take care of it,, That's why they get the BIG BUCKS,,,,

Great story. Had I been there, I'd have placed a rock on the pile with you. I believe in those things, even though I'm not sure why or what for. Sometimes it just feels "right". :thumbsup:
