I am in Waco, and BP is kind of an obsession for me, but i cant say i dont shoot suppository guns too. There is a range close to me, and you see the occasional ML out there--other than mine--but they are few and far between. I know of one other member here who has used this range, and i have also gotten some interest from other people who keep saying they will start using them, but havent gotten around to it yet. The local 4H group has made comments about wanting a couple kits for the kids to build and compete with, but havent done it yet. I try to get out and help them out some when i can, but that hasnt been nearly enough lately with school and work and everything else going on. So it seems like the interest is there with several segments of people, but for whatever reason, most havent taken the bite just yet. I'm hoping they do...

I belong to the Temple Gun Club in Temple Texas. I'm the only one I've ever seen shoot BP here.

Looks like they try to do different things each month.. Lotta steel/reactive targets.. Today we used mainly leverguns with BP carts on steel targets with a paper bonus target.. Last month was BP pistol shooting.. Next month looks like BP shotgun steel knockdowns... We shoot 1st Sundays at 1:30..

Dont have to belong to the club to shoot in the matches and it's $3 to shoot..Holler if ya want directions..

With all the shooters from Tex we have on here and all the new ones this week ya all should be makeing up someeeeeee clubs you can get a charter and help (buck's) from the NMLRA....Fred :hatsoff:

I f we could get a good bp range centrally located that would be great! I think if someone could get one in say, Waxahachie I would certainly join the club and shoot there.

Everyonr that can should make it to the Brady shoot just to say hi to everyone and see the level of shooters here, great gang of guys too, lots of things to do. Fred :hatsoff: We really have more than enough to start up 5 0r so shooting clubs. Where is Waxahachie again?

Waxahachie is t ecounty seat of Ellis county, about 35 miles south of Dallas where highway 287 and 35E intersect.

Ok got it now! Your about a hour and some change away. Fred :hatsoff:
