Hi all;

There's a thread "Hunting Question" going on. There's also a thread "Period Correct" going on that seems to be carrying over from the first thread.

tg made a very brief response to the initial thread. It seems that all kind of "stuff" got stirred up in response to tg's comment.

I noticed that directly at the end of tg's post, he put a large "VBG".

Now, I'm not real up to date on a lot of this computer stuff, but I thought that "VBG" meant "Very Big Grin"???

Am I wrong? Does VBG mean something else?

If that's all it means, then tg was just agitating.

Personally, tg has been a real source of knowledge to me. He's posted very friendly, in-depth, and well thought out answers to plenty of my questions.

If the guy was just "raising a little hell" for fun, why have a few fellows "got their underwear all bunched up"!

Sheesh, lets take a joke!

Regards to all, and thanks for ALL the posts that tg has sent my direction.

My apologies Claude. You are absolutely right.

I hadn't really read all of the thread. I didn't realize that they were a goin' at it like they were.

I just don't read threads that contain bickering. Once it got past 4 or 5 comments, I saw it going nowhere and I had stopped reading. When I saw the post count going around 30, I suppose that my effort to point out the humor in the ORIGINAL post by tg was my humble attempt to stop a wasted thread.

Thank you for officially stopping it.

Again, I'm woefully ignorant of most of this internet stuff... and for that I apologize.

I'll just stick to ML content from now on.

This board that you and the moderators provide and maintain is a terrific place and I certainly appreciate the opportunities to learn that are provided here. Thank you.

Regrets,

Ironsights Jerry.

The answer is a resonding NO WE CAN'T.
And that's fine. Debate, scientific arguement, brain storming, conflict, all are inevitable in the course of social interaction. How we deal with conflict, differences, and disagreement is a hallmark of personal character.
Cheesh I have NOTHING against any person here. In fact I love a good challenge.
Frankly I think tg has a huge amount of knowledge and read what he says with great interest. I wish I knew half of what he's forgotten.
He has his views and is entitled to them, we can disagree, as many of us will, that's the real world.
I know I'm not always right. :what: (did I admit that?)
But we are all here to learn. What a wonderful gift this forum is. We get exposed to all kinds of information.
We are strong BECAUSE of our diversity.
