Well, this morning at church I found two people to give my wing bone calls to. So this afternoon I will be waiting for christmas for more wing bones to make calls from....................watch yer top knot.................

you can get bones on other days besides holidays guys, the grocery store sell plain wings n BBQ turkey wings all the time n they don't cost alot. ya get double duty more or less, eat the meat simmer the bones n gristle for a little turkey stock n then make calls from the bones for friends. Also ask friends ya know are haveing turkey to save the wing bones for ya, all three if they are good friends, they will look at ya wierd usually but show them the calls after ya make them, thats how I started out n ended getting so many bones I had to ask some to go ahead n toss them. wish I could figure out how to get pictures I have into the computer n then here to show ya some I have made. But alas I am a trogladite on this thing LOL - just some thoughts YMHS Birdman

Here's one I made for a friend of mine last year. Buffalo leather wrap and rawhide lanyard with a drilled bit of cowhorn tip. Fun to make. Got some bones in the fridge waiting now. My lovely bride said "How long are those nasty old bones gonna be in there??" :rotf:

So I am re-arranging the fridge this morning and there, at the back of a shelf -- those Thanksgiving wing bones in a Zip-lok bag!
I sawed off the ends, boiled, soaked in peroxide, cleaned out the gunk, and now I am boiling them one more time with black tea.
Should have me a call her afore long ...
