Good movie, however it was about as historically accurate as bambi. Richard Boone lost me with " You men here at the Alamo, right here on the Rio Grande...". The Rio Grande is about 356 miles south of San Antonio De Bejar, The Alamo. I know the Duke ment well with the making of the movie, but for us Tejanos, it doesnt cut it.
 
Sort a like "13 Days of Glory" a good flick for its time but historiclly very Hollyweird

I liked the depiction of Sam Houston though. The leather capote with the raven symbol across the back, authentic or not, is a nod to Houston's time among the Cherokees.

I just saw something on IMDB about an new Alamo movie coming out in 2010. Does anyone know anything about this?
