I lived in California 1960-1983, and LOVED living there. Every day I would wake up to a clear blue sky and thank god that I lived in California. I left the state in 1983 for boot camp, and never moved back. But I continued to play and ski in California until the mid-1990s, until I moved out east. Sadly, haven't been back. Sold my San Jose house for a mint, and retired. Some of the best days of my life were in California.

Global warming and drought have really changed California, and I'm kinda glad that I don't live there anymore. I remember the days when the Tahoe ski areas had a 20-foot snowpack all winter. Those days are long gone.
