for the longest time i used a Lee bullet dipper/ladle for my casting and avoided the Lyman due to high cost. well let me tell you this: if your on the fence about getting a Lyman bullet dipper (ladle), buy it.
i recently ruined a Lee lead pot (i was stupid) so i went to the local cabelas to purchase a new melting pot (a Lyman big dipper). i noticed they had one last Lyman ladle in stock so on a whim i decided to try it. this ladle puts standard ladles to shame! i was able to pour non-stop without worrying about the pour channels clogging up.
im sure many of you already know this, but i didnt realize how much better these were. so i figured id share this for any one out there on the fence like i was... its worth the extra money.
