Sorry if this has been asked before, but what difficulty level is the new offering from Kibler? I’ve assembled a Woodsrunner and found it to be more or less a snap together kit. Is the Fowler the same? I’m thinking hard on getting one.

I put together a Woodsrunner last year and a Fowler this year, I would say the Fowler is easier.

Now, I added some carving to the Woodsrunner, but it also has a nosecap as well as a patchbox and you have to add the sights and adjust them, so there is less to do to a Fowler. Also, I left the Fowler barrel and lock in the white and did not stain the Fowler.

nchawkeye, have you posted any pictures of your Fowler? If not would you post some. I'd like to see it.
Thank you.

Sure...It is the 16 gauge, as I have 3 rifles, a .40 and 2-.54s. Hoping to try it on squirrels after deer season and then turkeys in the Spring.

I ordered in walnut and used Jim Chambers oil finish, no stain on the stock, no finish on the brass or steel parts, plan to let them age on their own.
