Jeff, that looks real good. I am one of those folks that loves to cuss osage :doh:
Made a few selfbows of my own and I know how difficult it can be to work with.

..Hawkthrower... I have been making selfbows for 40 plus years with Osage. I love to work it. The grain and look is wonderful. It is such a tough strong wood. I like how it ..."tans" too. Nothing like the look of a old worked piece of "osage" !!!
 
hey Jeff mind if I borrow(steal) yer idea, LOL I use a cane pretty regular since the cancer I never know just when my balance may get a bit wobbly hehe, that is sweet looken n I got just the hunk a bone sitten on the workbench, been trying to decide just what to use it for, I might cut a little piece of purple heart as a spacer under the osage top n a couple old coins to rummage through, hmmm got a small compass setten around too, might keep me from going in circles :blah: :thumbsup:
