I am interested in making an English holster pistol as seen in the above link. Has anyone had any experience ordering parts from The Rifle Shop? ? quality, state of finish? anything lacking? easy to use or difficult? general thoughts?

Can be hard getting them on the phone but when you do just make sure they have the parts you want in stock. Should receive them in a timely manner if they do. If the parts are not in stock you can look forward to a very long wait. My experience, their parts have been excellent quality.

Looks real fine to me! I especially like that 1733 French Pistol. This is a good outfit to do business with and I believe you'll get straight answers from them if you give them a call.
