Sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but I did not know where to ask this.

Just tried calling them on the phone number on their website. Got an intercept message saying the phone number is not valid or is disconnected. Does anyone have any info on this?
I have been waiting for a part for over a year and trying to nudge them to give me an ETA. Has their number changed?

I dunno what to add here other than to say that their website was down for a couple of weeks a year or so ago.

They are not worth buying from, and having to wait years to get the parts. I would never order parts from them. Ive heard these stories for 40, or so years.
Who the heck wants to wait that long for parts,???.

Dave

But they offer many, many buildings components and kits you can’t find anywhere else.

My thing with them is if they’ve got so many orders backed up, why not use the money to hire a helping hand?

Maybe if they expanded a bit they could increase order fulfillment, gain more exposure, etc. but I am in no way a businessman so their may be more nuance I’m not aware of.

Lots of small businesses DON'T WANT to grow. Can you imagine trying to find help in today's world? I won't hire anyone....1099 only. They suck they don't get called again.

I'm not sticking up for TRS in anyway. The horror stories I have heard have forever tainted my opinion . After even two years the part should arrive with a full refund and an apology. 3d print the part and get the thing done.

Cuz they sell stuff and we buy stuff??? I dunno, never crossed my mind really. Where should it go? It definably related to buying and selling muzzleloader stuff??

I have an old Rifle Shoppe gun coming; a long-time pal and re-enactor, now retired, is liquidating stuff and has a M1776 Rifle Shoppe rifle. He and 3 other guys got together in the Bi-Cen era, and ordered 4 parts kits; two were assembled by one craftsman, and two by another. I've paid him 2 of 3 equal payments for his, it's put together excellently, and was well cared for. One more payment and I will be the new owner; it has a sling and couple other items, no ball mould but that's not a problem. It's a .62, I believe. I'm happy to know the history of the gun and honored to be the new recipient. They're handsome; kind of like a hybrid Bess, shorter, rifled, and the history of the originals is interesting. Is missing the ramrod swivel, but I understand that they were often removed in service, and I don't care a whit. 🎯

It does appear to be a super-custom parts shop for individuals who are deep into the craftsmanship of the hobby. Usually such suppliers are artists or specialists in their own right, and are very dependent upon the talented individuals that founded the business. (I've not dealt with them, so I'm speaking in generalities!) I wish everyone the best.
