I can respect that, luckily half of the vehicles in my neck of the woods are plastered with various stickers advertising all the unmentionables potentially under the front seat. My lowly black powder reference would hopefully be pretty low on their list.

I actually agree whole heartedly. With few exceptions, I follow the same with what I wear ( alot of it is because I absolutely refuse to pay for an advertisement). When we went overseas, I made sure nothing either of us wore could identify us as targets...to police, idiots or thugs. Crossing the border into Canada, lifestyle stickers, etc. absolutely make you stand out to border patrol perusal...on both sides.

Here in UK? VERY difficult to do, although I once knew a guy who had SLR 762. For those who might not know, SLR was the British designation for the military FAL, and 762 was the calibre. Apart from that, I've never seen anything else.

Personally, given the UK's general views on shooting, I wouldn't have such a plate even if I could.

I'm happy to fly under the radar here, most people don't approve of hunting and those that do pay very close attention to the location they see other hunting vehicles, particularly given game laws are rarely enforced. Take from that what you will.

In the UK there used to be/is an Alvis car with the plates ALV15, and there is currently an Alvis in Brisbane with ALV15 on a local plate.

Yes, it belonged to the boss of the Alvis garage in a riverside town called Godmanchester. He usually had two or three up on the stocks being serviced or rebuilt - all very beautiful and graceful cars.

Off topic but I have these on my car and truck, I think they convey the message "messing with this guy is a big mistake", the driver is a conservative, red neck, military veteran. This one is old; my number is different now.
