How about a dessert recipe:
Put a cup of regular sugar, a cup of brown sugar, 1/2 cup evaporated milk and a pinch of salt in a sauce pan over medium heat stirring with a wooden spoon. When it comes to a rolling boil, boil for just short of 4 minutes. Remove from heat, add 1 to 1 1/4 cup pecans, a half stick of butter and a tablespoon of vanilla. Stir vigorously for about a minute until blended and butter is melted, then quickly (it sets up fast) drop in large spoonfuls onto waxed paper or silicone baking sheet. Makes about a dozen pecan pralines, (careful, they are addictive).
