Got to know about Clay from when he won the show Alone. Was glad to find his hunting videos. I don’t really watch hunting shows anymore but I watch his. It’s hard to find good traditional muzzleloader content. Especially western hunting. Haven’t seen this one yet. Thanks for posting!
 
If he was a real hardcore dude he’d sleep under the treefall!? I think he might pass for hardcore. What beautiful country.

For those from other places - In the American West there are wilderness areas that have been set aside for recreation and hunting. They don’t allow any motorized vehicles within wilderness, even for maintenance. There is usually good reason these areas have been undeveloped, often because access is limited and the terrain is very rugged. These areas are often 100, 200, 300 square miles, and are open to the public (assuming you can get in). Not sure if he specifically said where he was in Idaho, but one of the largest designated wilderness areas in the contiguous states is Frank Church-River of No Return Wilderness which is 3700 square miles or so, in Idaho.
