Personally I wouldn't pay that kind of money for a new one...too easy to find a clean used one for half that price, and even less if a good deal is run across.
Plus, T/C honors its lifetime warranty whether the original owner or not, so buying a used one is a low risk venture, assuming the bore is good of course.
My suggestion would be to take a bit of time and start checking the classifieds on some forums for a while...seems that a T/C Hawken is always turning up
