Shot it today. Just with the sights roughly centered. The cluster of hits, 4 in there, plus the one low at 7 o’clock that I pulled.
.530 ball, .015 patch. 60 grns of 3F.
Really like this rifle, how it looks and how it handles.
A couple inches high at 50 is dead on at 80 or so. Good enough!
In fact it WAS good enough for this poor soul who sat down in the Homeplace pasture while I went in to get tea. On the treeline behind the gate in the pic, about 70 yards or so.
