Got a stainles steel mucket for 2.99 at Salvation Army store today, Hee Hee It don't fit my persona but I don't care :rotf: ....Mark

Thats the one :winking: I see it ALSO says 1750 thru--- :rotf: Now Ive heard that back in the golden age of rendevous buckskinnin, Curley Gostomski brought one of these over from Australia where it is called a "Billy"and has fallen into buckskinner lore ever since.But like I said I don't care,Their a handy one man item and I'll enjoy it...Mark
 
i got one of those from my wife and son for christmas it came from hamilton dry goods up the road from me real nice cooker

I've never heard the story about Gostomski, but it could be true that he acquired an Ausie bully cup.
However, I believe that the mucket is an item dating to what my dear old Grandmother referred to as the War of Northern Aggression.

That is 1860, as opposed to 1750.
