Has any one had any experiance with these stocks. I was thinking of ordering one, If the price list on the web site is right I could get a pre-carved 44" B barrel in exibition grade red maple for $205.00. That would be a bargin if the stocks are good quality??

I know nothing of them. With that said, if you do get one, be sure and follow up to let us know your thoughts on it.

I know nothing about this supplier but I have had a horrifying experience with red maple!!

I do not care what the claimed grade is, I will buy red maple only when mixed with hickory and white oak, as firewood!!

I have never heard of exhibition grade??? For $200+ there are several suppliers I can order from and get high quality blanks or even a well figured precarve.

I ordered a TN style, exhibition grade stock from them a couple of months ago. Wood looked real nice. Micheal was slammed when I placed my order but was pretty close on his actually delivery date estimate. A little over a month. Precarved meant, in my case anyway, so ask him, everything was left square ahead of the lock panels and the stock was rough shaped not smooth and sanded. Now I was not expecting anything else and wanted the forearm square but I did not want you to be disappointed if you had different expectations.
Hope that helps
Ken

Typically, Michael's wood is a little more expensive than Wayne Dunlap's for equal quality. Not sure what he's calling exhibition grade, at this point, as I've seen a number of his blanks in the $275 plus range. You may want to explore further...
