Time period displayed?

Picked this up in a trade 2 years ago. (NOT original, obviously...) Trying to nail down period and region.copied by builder...
.50 cal.,
Iron furniture says Southern influence, straight stock suggests British influence and/or early in period. maybe South Carolina, 1810-1820, from depth of crescent buttplate. Feedback welcomed!
