I see Tin cup rule is in some flyers for rondys. I have been going to ML's shoots for over 30 yrs and have never seen a "Tin Cup Rule", what is it?

signed,

Ignorant..

It means no modern stuff in plain view.
No Plastic water bottles, no beer or soda cans/bottles, if you want to drink that stuff pour it in a cup or noggin first.
No Cell phones.
Cigarette packs and lighters,
It just means keep modern stuff out of sight.

Our range has a tin cup rule whether the event is primitive or not. It goes a long way in keeping empty bottles and cans from being tossed allover the place.

I suppose it never came up with me is
I never brought that stuff to begin with.
No one else had it either, it was never discussed, so I never learned the meaning.

I dont know why people spoil good coffee with additives :shake: Howsomever, at least one ml supply company offers an insulated copper or tin tankard that looks right

I've got a dandy tin cup they issued me when I signed up for the 24th Michigan in '73. :shocked2: graybeard

Well you got to love coffee, I think it was Franklin who said God made coffee to prove he loves us and wants us to be happy.
Only some Torie would not like coffee.
( oh yeah, Loyalist Dave, er a sorry, no offense intended... By the by Franklin said beer not coffee, oh never mind...How's the weather in Maryland) :rotf:
