There is another post floating around out there about a gun from ERA.

This is my definition of customer service.

I purchased a .62 Tulle in-the-white from Tip Curtis this spring. I finished the gun and began shooting it. After about 20 shots the stock started to crack / chip behind the tang. I called Tip - he said send it back and he would repair the chip, bed the stock and breech in glass to prevent further chipping and re-dril the barrel pin holes so that they are holes and not slots.

My cost is the $20 bucks to ship to TN.

From the start Tip made this right. Never met the man before but he offers great service.

Thanks, after the sale is just as important as before and during the sale...

This is a far cry from what the other post had wrong and could've been chalked up to unseen wood stresses. Even wood sellers say they are not held liable for that yet Tip went the xtra mile.
I personally have not dealt with him yet but plan on steering my oldest to him for his first QUALITY flinter
when he is ready to move up from his GPR.
All on what I have read in here.
:m2c:

I've spoken with Tip on several occasions over the phone, but just recently I met him at Dixons. That guy is really something else. He's one of a kind and a true gentleman!
