Clean barrel with a light canvas patch is hitting very good out of the 73 cal underhammer,,,,,,so today I shot some clean barrel shots followed by a quick loading of a paper patched ball.
Using two wraps of paper and a .715 ball........losse and shot way high and left.............
Clean the barrel and blow dry with the air compressor :grin:
Load a canvas patch and a .725 ball......BOOM, first shot :shocked2: ........quicky load a .720 paper patched ball.............BOOM, second shot!
This was repeated three times.
The first clean barrel shot are in a very good group at 75 yds off the bench.........the three follow up shot very 2", 1", 4" off the first shots.
Just tear, dump and load.....ram home and cap.
You will never find a faster follow up shot than a patched paper cartridge.

And I checked on the ground for burning paper, and there wasn't any. For some reason, printer paper doesn't want to catch on fire and burn. :hmm:
