I just found something today that made me smile.
I have not bought a Track of the Wolf catalog in a few years. I got a new one today in the mail.
On page 115 is a rifle I made. It was made for the 1997 Rocky Mountain National Rendezvous (not the NMLRA one) in Montana. It was the gun we raffled off. It was won by a man from Minnesota.
Well Dave Riplinger at T.O.T.W. must have got a hold of it at some point, because it's in the #16 catalog. He didn't say I made it, but I did.
Here's some pics I took of it before it went to Montana
:)
It's cool to see it there.

Looks like someone removed the Sling Button from the butt in the TOTW catalog, or perhaps they edited the photo to remove it?

Nice gun you made! :)

zonie :)

Steve made my Fusil and matching pistol. He calls them plain??? Does fantastic work.

That's a great piece of art. Thanks for showing us and pointing out who the artist is. Good work like that should be signed. Is it a signed piece?

No..my fault.
It was made for the 97 Western, and at one time it was talked about that it should be engraved as such, but I objected to that.
The "powers that be" told me they would get back to me on what they wanted engraved on the barrel.
Well.......they never did, so I never put anything on it.

Guess I should have.
