I bought a can of this stuff after reading about here. I tried it in my .32 TVM Tennessee caplock today, seemed to work well. I use spit almost exclusively except when hunting then I've used T/C Bore Butter. Many years ago a fellow recommended Jojoba oil as a hunting lube. I tried it in extremely cold weather and after taking a shot at a decent mule deer buck I couldn't get the next load down the bore. While the temperatures today were at least 50° warmer than that day I'm hoping this mink oil won't behave like Jojoba.

At 25 yards I'd fired 3 shots, .315 PRB over 25 grains Schuetzen fffg, with spit lube before switching to mink lubed patches. I did not wipe the bore before moving from spit. I proceeded to fire 10 more shots with the mink in succession without benefit of any bore wipe, I could have kept going. Loading remained smooth and accuracy was good. Jury still out I'll be trying this in my other muzzleloaders. I also have bear grease I want to try.
