Show me a web sight that has some documentation of what you speak, other than that it is just hear say, you know ,something like old wives tales, or lets just call it what it should be called, b.s.

As I said if you know Doc White or Buck Connor....just ask them. If you don't know them...perhaps you haven't been around much....and you are where the BS is, huh???

Imagine a lefty back in the day of the flintlock military; I guess he could serve on a gun crew instead of a line musket company!
Believe he was forced to shoot righty. Jist like rightin. Made you cypher and such in schol right handed due to the devil in ya.

I am right handed, does that give me extra points.
No. It makes you an unsympathetic voice in this choir. You're not left handed so you can't be expected to know our plight. As such your opinion on this matter is moot because you can't relate. You've not had to go through life adapting to a right handed world. I'm old enough to have lived through some of the left handed discrimination that has taken place, and yes, it is discrimination, no different than other forms of discrimination.

Walk in our shoes and understand where we are coming from, or shut your piehole.

Awww hell....here we go.....discrimination...no one suffered like I do...booo hoooo hooo 😂

Under the "Gun Parts" section on their website they list 5 different models of pre-carve (some pre-inlet) lefthanded stocks--a half stock Hawken, a full stock Hawken, a Leman Trade Rifle, an Isaac Haines rifle, and the classic 1790 - 1810 era Lancaster rifle. Else where they list left hand locks suitable for these rifles and sideplates.

I need to correct myself in my previous post. I looked under "Left Hand Stocks" on Track's website and saw links to 5 different models of lefthanded pre-carve stocks. I didn't click on all those links until a little while ago. Only three of the five are actually available. The Leman Trade Rifle and the Isaac Haines left hand stocks do not show the "Add to Cart" button or price, indicating that they are no longer available. So it is only the full and half stock Hawkens and the Lancaster lefthanded stocks that are currently available from Track.

I was curious so I checked Muzzleloader Builder Supply, Log Cabin Shop, Jedediah Star, Dixie Gun Work, and Pecatonica River Long Rifle Supply for a lefthanded Isaac Haines kit or stock. None of these suppliers offered one. In fact, none of these offered a right hand Isaac Haines rifle kit or pre-carve stock, either, though Track still does.

The only place to order a lefthanded Isaac Haines rifle kit is Jim Chambers Flintlocks.

This makes me suspect that there is a supply problem such as the stock carver going out of business or none of these suppliers had enough demand for this model of lefthanded rifle to continue to carry them.

Whatever the reason, the net effect is that, yes, the options for the left hand shooter wanting to build rifles from a kit are fewer now than they were a few years ago. It's not just Track, but seemingly industry wide.

I know a lot of shooters that shoot left handed and shoot very well, out shot me plenty of times. I have never seen them complain about a company that did not cater to their style of shooting. They did what they had to do and looked around. and always came up with one. I have never seen what you call left hand discrimination, and I have been shooting since 1955. I was just on the computer and found six different places to get a left handed flintlock kit, and a lot of other places to get parts to build one:dunno:. Considering the times we are in, there is a lot of shortage of things to go around, we are all experiencing this. The supplier of black powder that I buy from has none in the granulation that I want, in no way would I condemn them on here and say I will dis them and go elsewhere. And where did you ever got that I am prejudice and discriminate against left handed people I have no idea. My Son and Grandson are left handed, and also shooters/hunters,( better than me in fact):) so I will say shut your pie hole about any prejudice on my part, or about walking in somebody's shoes or what ever else you can come up with. In my eyes there is no reason for somebody to go on a gun forum and dump on a gun manufacture/supplier for a reason or reasons they know nothing about why. And not just because their next door neighbors, uncles, aunts, cousin told them so. There is always two side to every story. Thank you and have a nice day.

In 1970 in north Texas i graduated from crayons to the big Chief pencil and tablet. I immediately started to write with my left hand.

My teacher, a well intentioned gray haired lady, snatched the pencil from my hand, scolded me for using the wrong hand, and told me if I kept my left hand in my pocket she wouldn't have to use rope. I was raised to respect and follow instructions of teachers and elders, so i tried to write with my right hand.

I stepped off the bus and got in the house. My mom asked about my day, and I told her. She woke up dad who was working nights and I repeated my day. Dad growled and said get in the car. I was scared I'd done wrong, but he told me I hadn't as he raced to the school.

When he got through yelling at every adult left in the building he was assured I would never be forced to use my right hand again... ever. And I never was... ever.

I own plenty of guns, but only a few left handed ones. And only 1 LH muzzle loader, which I built from scratch.

I have read left handed folks make up 10 percent of the population. That isn't enough for many manufacturers.

Sometimes a guy has to release.
BTW: TOTW has some problems. friend of mine sent them some high dollar rifles to consign and some accessories.
That was DEC. 2020.....fast forward 6-1/2 months later, they still did not have them on their site.

They sold a rifle for me last year without ever putting it on the website.

If anyone thinks I really dissed on Track in my little post then you don't know what real complaining and criticism is. In fact it takes a Troll to make something out of nothing and fellas we are dealing with a real one here.
Too bad us lefthanders can't discuss amongst ourselves what we consider problems with being lefthanded. That Bigstick guy....is he compensating with his handle? Isn't offering anything productive to the discussion so what's he doing in this post anyway? If not simply stirring up problems. Does he think he has any idea the amount of buisness including rifle kits (that's plural) and rifle parts that I've done with them over the years? I say it's time he was ignored.
BTW Wayne Dunlap has a nice LH Isacc Haines kit.

I kinda figured he works or worked for Track.

I have no idea what real complaining is, I do not engage in it, it gets you no where. You stated that Track did not support left handed shooters, with out knowing why or if that was true. I have really never heard a left hand person complain about being left handed. Big stick has nothing to do with my feeling big, it was a type of remote control airplane kits I flew back in the day in some competitions,17555 is my zip, I still have one I fly to this day. I read your post and gave my opinion, I have not seen where I need any ones permission to give that opinion in this post or any other. You also have no idea what I have built over the years from companies kits. So ignore me if you want, it is your freedom to do so, it is also my freedom to speak as I see it. Quote"I say it is time he is ignored"unquote, real nice, so grab all you friends and do what you want.

Righties need to go to england and drive a car on the wrong side of the road, use a stick shift with their left hand, go back to their hotel and use a left handed wine corkscrew, then cut up some paper with a left hand set of scissors. Maybe they can start the ignition in the car with their left hand. It is a righthanded world and i say lefties matter! I let my FIL use my lefty corkscrew remover without telling him. He told me it was defective since it would not go into the cork. Told me the same with my scissors. And yes i am a lefty who is forced to live in a righty world. We are mostly ignored in this elitist righthanded world.

Ever offer to let a righty shoot your lefty flinter? "Oh no i cant shoot that, the lock is on the wrong side. it might burn my face" my reply, welcome to my world.

Ambidextrous is the ONLY way to go! That way when you blow one limb off, you can use the other!
