You don't have to wait at all ! :idunno: Call Tip Curtis Frontier Shop. 615-654-4445. Tim will have about 50 to 75 In-the-White rifles ready to ship & enough parts to build probably 300+ more rifles. TREMENDOUS inventory...... You really have to see it to believe all the stuff he has. Hundreds of barrels & hundreds of stocks, you name it, Tips has it, if he don't you probably don't need it.

If you buy a In-the-White, basically all you will need is some sandpaper, Exacto knife maybe, stain, finish, browning solution, pack of 0000 Steel wool, couple of screwdrivers, a 1/16" punch & small hammer, and TIME......

I just discovered the coolist place!!! Toad Hall Rifleshop. the owner is a retired custom ML maker. He allows people to come to his shop and use all of his tools to build a ML rifle. He said that he would also help with its creations (guidence). I think I will be ok!!!

Sorry. idunno: I didn't even look at your location. You definitely hit a Jackpot !! You can build a GOOD rifle there !

You found your answer. Good luck with your build.

The only problem is that he does not like people building kits. He said he would want me to build from a blank.

That is too cool. Ask him if he would mind you starting a thread on the project with pics, comments, lessons learned etc. Not my business to add to the amount of work you'll already be doing, but it would be a great thread!

I will ask him tonight. we are going to be going over parts tonight and then ordering what we agree on. He wants me to build a caplock and I want to build a flint lock but we both agree on the bedford rifle with 36" barrel. :)
also I am a nursing student and this build may take some time. thanks for all of the support and advice.
