Squirrelsarus Rex tracks. They've made it this far east! We're in big trouble, nothing will stop them now!

Musket Man has a picture of one. They have fangs and kill smaller mammals for sport!

That's what I think, but people here say there are no cats down this low,,,
The track on the left has a bigger pad which tells me it's the left front, there is no ^ at the top of the pad and their is no nail marks on the top either, Yep,, looks like a cat to me,,

here kitty kitty....i saw a bobcat muching on a road killed deer thur night....saw some thing that i thought was a fox but the ears looked funny....so i had to turn around and look again but this time it had it's head buried in the deer....so i turned around again and stopped with my head lights on it at 5' and sure enough it was a bobcat....it didn't stick around but fer 2 seconds....when i passed that deer carcess the next day it was dragged into the grass field bout 30 yards off the road....i guess it didn't want to be bothered again....it sure was neat to see him....i'd say it was bout 40 pounds and stood 20" at the shoulder............bob

as soon as I seen it I called my Lady in, she likes to walk the hollers here,, I think/hope the cat will go for the calfs before the horses, There is a LOT of young deer round here also,,

I'm not much plagued with cats here. My youngest left three of his domestic wolves behind when he went north. Their momma was a Red wolf and their pappy was a grey. The biggest one is as big as any dog I've seen, and we once had a mountain rott. Bears, now, make short work of any wolf dumb enough to git close.

They say we got some of these what they call Swamp Apes around here...

They love dogs and cats, and not as pets. When your
dogs don't ever come home The "Big Cats" are doing
thier thing.
Keep "Ole Blue" on a short rope until you get this
critter treed.

Certainly look like cougar tracks to me. Besides wild animals show up in some crazy places. Two years ago a young bull moose wandered down fountain creek, and camped out within stones throw from downtown Colorado Springs. Stayed about a month and wandered off. I went down to see him and get pics a few times. Also saw an idiot try to feed him an orange. No escaping idiots, but thats another post!

Wonder if he would come to a predator call? Never kilt a cougar with a muzzleloader

Hey Hobbles,

I saw an article on Outdoors Unlimited about a cougar that was hit by an automobile in western KY about a month or so ago!

The same article also told of the WV DNR comfirming cougar tracks in WV. Maybe the big cats are doing as the coyotes have done migrated to where there's deer aplenty! They're getting tired of eatin Kalifornian moutain bikers!
