Is there any dedicated traditional muzzleloading magazine being produced anywhere? Me thinks if there isn't one, a person who published one would find a ready audience. Heck even an e-zine would be a good start. Even if it were only quarterly I would be willing to give up some of my hard earned money to buy it.
Few, if any hunting/shooting magazines speak to me anymore. I would sure like to read about people who use PRBs, flinters or perc. lock, and real BP to hunt and target shoot with. I don't care about Jim Shockey killing another world record animal with a da#n inline.
When was the last time anyone saw a gun review with a flintlock being featured?
I know this is wishful thinking on my part, but I feel if something like this were produced people who use traditional muzzleloaders would have more of a voice and more public exposure, thus more people would learn what we are all about. Perhaps some would convert and join our ranks.
Before I stumbled upon traditional archery type magazines I thought everyone used a compound bow and carbon arrows.
Any thoughts? :hmm:
