As was said, the trigger being free to wobble around a bit is a good thing. It means the sear can fully engage the full cock notch in the tumbler when the lock is cocked.
Some people have put a little hair weight spring into their triggers to provide a light pressure on the sear arm and that's OK as long as the spring doesn't produce hardly any force at all. If the added spring makes a lot of force, that can be bad. It can keep the sear and full cock notch from fully engaging.
Some triggers don't lend themselves to having a spring added. If that's the case, it is better to just learn to live with the loose trigger.
