The funnel front was for loading on a moving platform such as a horse or wagon being pulled by same or oxen. It was pointed not aimed as most smoothbores with shot was.
It is cool, flintlock would be more correct IMHO but who knows. Blunderbusses draw big money for original and most are flintlock.
I say go for it and screw whoever don't like it. I get a big crowd on the range when I shoot my flintlock with a cannon muzzle every time. [gee it may have been made in India but Who cares]
