Trailwalk in the pine barrens

After a 7 year break we ran a trailwalk at our club Sunday. 10 shooters and 10 targets spread out on the ranges. It was a great morning of shooting and b&@l busting amongst friends.

Have not been in the Jersey barrens for ages. Just refuse to go into that cess pool state any more.
But the Jersey barrens are special, strange and unique.

This is on Long Island out by Calverton.
It’s the Roslyn Club. We have actually owned this property since before the LIE came thru. My friend Bill and I have been running bp shoots there for a good 25 years.

Yes it is.
Bought it years ago so I could take some vet buddies with disabilities out to experience black powder shooting. It’s just pine lands , not buildable but really fun to shoot and hunt turkeys.
