Neat video. I'm actually a bit surprised at that close range that even the lighter loads you started off with didn't go through both the front and the back. And that one right dead-center in the middle only put a dent in it? That block is tougher than I imagined it would be.

I agree.....I figured that .600 ball would break it in half.

Being a bow maker the first thing I noticed was the osage tree in the background with a straight trunk.

My late wife used to say if I was driving down the road and there was a nikid playboy centerfold standing under an osage tree I would say "WOW! did you see that osage tree".

Just happen to have a few cinder blocks lying around the shed. Time to put the 50 caliber and the 62 caliber flint guns to the test against these cinder blocks using various grades of black powder.
