I have a CVA Mountain Rifle in .58. It has two triggers, the back one sets the front one. I'd like to have just one trigger, does any one offer a drop in replacement ? Did CVA offer this rifle with a one trigger setup?

Having a set trigger isn't necessarily a bad thing. It does take getting used to if you never had one before.
Deercreek products is your best source for CVA parts.
I don't know if that rifle was made with a single trigger option.
Also, you don't have to use the set trigger if you don't want to.

I know nothing about CVA triggers, but triggers are very much like women......intricate! If you want a good single trigger it will take some skill and knowledge to get it correct. Anyone can make the gun go boom, but a decent trigger needs good geometry and correct placement.

As @deermanok stated above, you do not have to use the set trigger function. The front trigger will act as a single trigger. There may be some slop and trigger pull weight may be a bit heavy, but it will still be a single (unset) trigger. There is no real advantage to changing the double set trigger to a single trigger.

Yes there is a real advantage. More room to put your finger inside the trigger guard.

Not necessarily. Would depend on location of trigger pivot on the new trigger. TC offered a single trigger conversion for their guns and the single trigger was in the exact same location as it was on the set triggers.
