I try to shoot when its 20 or more but if too long will gear up and venture down at colder temps.

I did two more checks. Gain my Brass Measure 30 is not anyone else's as they can vary. But the weight of the powder is telling.

Pyrro P at a BM 30 weighted 23.5

GOES 3F at BM 30 weighed 25.5

Of those I weighed, 777 had the most weight per volume.

I think the reason it cloggs the valve is it gets gummy. It never happens in the winter with me but in the summer in high humidity it gumms up quite often.

I have several of the Hawksley flame proof type flasks, the T7 is so fine it actually gets packed in behind the gate and jams it. We have very low humidity here so the powder is not gummy by any means.

I get a ring of gooey stuff around the spout . you can scrape it off and make a little ball out of it that makes a nice little pop when you light it. It is pretty hard to light with a match though.
