Trouble with a pre lubed Maxi Ball

That must have been when we had those hard freezes 2 years in a row .. around 1983 or so. Lake County hasn't had any orange groves to speak of since then.

One other thought just came to me as to the "one lubed cleaning patch" barely being able to be forced down the barrel.
Are you absolutely sure that you didn't have TWO patches frozen/stuck together? That would explain it.

Hi I had the same problem. My maxiball was a little over size. Not much I could do except use a hammer to get it down.
