Here's a pic of a short section from a arrow. I use to be into stick bows heavily. You will not break one if these. Only trouble is 31 in is the longest but easy to connect two and even then your not gonna breakm.

I have made ramrods from stainless and brass. Heavy, but hard to beat. I have also made short ones from aluminum arrows as well. Brass pinned my end in and extended the jag 1/2" past the barrel to grab easy in a hunting situation
