This is the set I just finished. Horn #1 and Horn #2. I already posted the big horn (my first). I took the advice of horner 75 and redid the spout. It looks better now. I appreciate his advice, Please tell me if you see anything else, pm me if you dont want to critic me on this forum. I got 3 books on hornmaking, but I dont get to see any fine horns in person. I know that I enjoy making my own stuff, and horns are a ton of fun.

As far as the set goes, I am going to put my 2 FF in the big horn and yes I am going to put either 4 F in the priming horn. I know it will be a pain to carry, I might not carry it every time, but I just wanted the practice of making another horn. I could always fill the priming horn with 3F and use it as a day horn.

Nice Set. Unless your going out for a year, that be a lot of priming powder. I use a little horn that I carry on thong around my neck. It would be plenty big to use as a day horn. I use a flat goat horn now for my day horn. And a pouch made out of a welders glove. Dilly

I appreciate the compliments. It was fun making them. They look great lying on the coffee table. I need to start the strap next. I like to make my straps from the glass wampum beads.

Darn fine work TO.

From the Nit Picking Department - I notice the hunter on the lower powder horn seems to be making what we call up here in Canada a 'Texas Lung Shot'.
