Have plenty of turkey tail and wing feathers, need beards for nymph patterns though...

Not to hijack the thread, but what for? I've tied lots of nymphs, shoot, they're almost all I tie any more, and I've never used a turkey beard. The only thing I can think of is legs perhaps? Maybe the wing case?

Hey Musketman, deer hair dyed black works really well for bug feet! Can't imagine how my attitude has changed towards road-kill since fly tying came along!! Muzzleloading gathering of fur, hair and feathers has given a real boost to my enjoyment.
