I'm on pins and noodles... will Simcoe and British capture and hang Washington? Will the British fleet chase the French away from Yorkton's harbor?

The first episode of this final season is double length, actually two episdoes Season 4-1 and 4-2.

Will be repeated tonight on AMC, 1 AM here in California.

I've seen it Saturday, (dark days ahead for the Americans, looks like)...but maybe they can pull out a victory somehow... :idunno:

Since I cant get the channel this has been running on, ive not seen any of this series. Season 1 is on its way to my house as I type!

I'm actually fairly excited. I think I missed the premiere, I'll have to go and see if I can record the replay.

They were selling off a bunch of stuff from the set a while ago, but they were only selling to people that can pick up on location. Couldn't do the drive. Would have been nice to get some more things.

If anything, I think the show got some people interested in AWI history.

I've requested season two from the library, can't remember how much of season two I've Seen. Season three is on hold anyhow. I really want to see who wins at the end.

I too am rooting for those Blue Coats.

Boo-Hiss to all those snotty Lobster backs, with their funny accents.

I'm excited to see what is the final outcome of General Washington and his Rebellious troops.

Oh well, only time will tell.......

I think I will just watch the show until the last episode.

I'll know for sure then. :hatsoff:

Funny, that Hollyweird hasn't decided to make all the characters gay and have pillow fights instead of bayonet attacks, followed by a big shootout and the end with High cap muskets and only the Zombies survive. Ooop's sorry, that's season five.

This forum amuses me sometimes... Both 'Frontier' (which admittedly bores me) and 'The Revenant' were trashed for their accuracy issues, but 'TURN' gets a pass!?

Don't get me wrong, I like the series. But the collective bipolar attitude amuses me.

On the Craptastic scale, Frontier was way past terrible. Can't say anything about The Revenant, as I didn't see it. But knowing the historical quality of movies (and the comments I've seen), I'm certain it was 25% reality and 75% fantasy. Turn, while appearing to take some liberties, is probably the best of the three.

Again, don't get me wrong, I like 'Turn' but about the only thing accuarate about it is the names of the characters.

My BIG problem with tonight's hour-long show was that the !@#$%! background music was SO LOUD that it makes it difficult to understand the actor's voices.

I will second the above. Missed a lot of the dialog last night. I find this to be true with a lot of programming these days. I thought it was just me and my aging ears.

I just run the closed caption option on everything these days, especially the shows that have British accent characters.
And yeah, Frontier seemed pretty lame in the couple of episodes that I tried to watch... :shake:
